Maintenance

A Maintenance Program will be tailored to each individual facility, based on the inspection and any work carried out following the initial start-up of the facilities contract. Once the floor has been brought to an acceptable operational standard – as agreed with both landlord and tenant – the Maintenance Program will commence.

It is recommended that a Floor Inspection be carried out every 6 months by the CLF Team. It is during this inspection that the entire floor will be assessed and notes commenting on all findings. The state and condition of the floor will be compared to the previous report provided for that facility.

The CLF Process

The CLF FIRMS (Floor Inspection, Repairs and Maintenance Service) program, offers clients a high level maintenance management program to ensure that floors continue to deliver on the functional requirements expected of them.

The CLF FIRMS service offering includes the following services – 24 hour joint rehabilitation, injection grouting, grinding to improve levels, self-level screed applications to DM1 1 tolerances, crack repair and other specialist services. Our experienced teams travel throughout South Africa and Africa, and use state of the art products sourced from all over the world and employ latest best application procedures.

Our teams are thus able to deliver a rapid and sustainable repair, ensuring minimal downtime for warehousing and facility operations.

In order for CLF to be able to implement the FIRMS program, the floor will need to be brought to a maintainable level, which would entail an inspection and any necessary remedial repairs being done.
