The inter-planetary grinders are operated and maintained to ensure that the quality delivered is of the highest standard.

Surveys
Floor flatness is a non-negotiable specification for warehousing and distribution facility floors, based on the need for high level racking and high productivity forklifts.
There is a focus now on cubic meters of facility space, as opposed to the old approach of square meters.
So for optimum racking and forklift utilisation, a flat floor is paramount.
By contracting in an independent expert, a Profilograph survey can be undertake with the equipment such as the Racktrack Profilograph.
The aim of the survey is to measure the floor using defined aisle or free movement patterns to determine the concrete floor surface regularity. The measurements are taken and applied to the Concrete Society’s TR 34 (4th Edition) Classifications.

Maintenance
A Maintenance Program will be tailored to each individual facility, based on the inspection and any work carried out following the initial start-up of the facilities contract. Once the floor has been brought to an acceptable operational standard – as agreed with both landlord and tenant – the Maintenance Program will commence.
It is recommended that a Floor Inspection be carried out every 6 months by the CLF Team. It is during this inspection that the entire floor will be assessed and notes commenting on all findings. The state and condition of the floor will be compared to the previous report provided for that facility.
The CLF Process
